Welcome to Shattemuc Yacht Club, the oldest Yacht Club on the Hudson River. We want your visit to Ossining and the Historic Hudson Valley to be a pleasant one, so here is some helpful visitor information.
Recently, with the assistance of a Boating Infrastructure Grant through the US Department Fish and Wildlife, we have added over 30 transient slips and docks open to the public. These facilities provide a great place to rest, relax and rejuvenate for boaters traveling up and down the Hudson or through the metro New York area. Or, if you are just looking for a place to stay for a weekend, stop on by!
During your stay at Shattemuc Yacht Club, you are welcome to use the clubhouse interior when it is open. Outside the club are gas grills, picnic tables and a fine porch with tables and chairs. The kitchen has a stove, microwave oven, crockery and flatware. There is an ice machine on the property, near the pool. Ice is one dollar per bag. To access it, you must ask a member to unlock it for you.
There is a bar within the clubhouse that is open on weekends, usually from Friday to Sunday. When it is tended, all drinks consumed within the clubhouse and on the porch must be purchased at the bar. At picnic tables, this is not required.
